The Bucha of Byron has launched a new range of alcoholic kombucha seltzers and says it is the first in the world to combine seltzers – the alcoholic drink trend that’s sweeping the globe with its easy drinking, low carb, low sugar and gluten-free qualities – with all the goodness of kombucha.

The Bucha of Byron says they are also unique, delivering something not all seltzers do – taste!

“The seltzer market has grown quickly and it’s exciting to see this interest in healthier beverage options, but we also wanted to make sure that what you’re drinking still tastes great,” The Bucha Of Byron co-founder Paul Tansley says.

“People already know and expect seltzers to be low sugar and low carb, they’re buying into the category for that reason, but you still want to enjoy it. The secret to our hard seltzers is a splash of our kombucha that really brings to life the fresh Tropical and Acai flavours.”

The Bucha of Byron’s Hard Seltzers come mixed with a splash or two of their most popular fresh natural-flavoured kombuchas – Acai Berry and Tropical and are available from mid-September in local stores, independent bottle shops and pubs and nationally with Dan Murphy’s, BWS and First Choice.

The launch coincides with what they say is another world first, the release of the Sneaky Bucha of Byron in a new clear glass bottle, a low carb Crisp Lager that adds a dash of kombucha to make for a super refreshing beer. Sneaky Bucha is available at Dan Murphy’s, BWS, Liquorland, and First Choice.

“This is a lager like no other, it’s actually the first of its kind in the world,” Tansley says.
