Leader in the low-and-no alcohol category, Paradox Wines, is adding some so-fizz-tication to the seltzer category with its latest releases - the new Paradox Wine Seltzers. Coming in two deliciously fruity varietals and at 4.5 per cent alc/vol, the new wine-based seltzers add a touch of moderation to the fast-growing seltzer category.

Now available in select Dan Murphy’s retailers, the two flavours include the Paradox Wine Seltzer Pinot Gris with natural pear and finger lime flavours and the Paradox Wine Seltzer Rosé with natural strawberry and hibiscus flavours. The 250ml cans come in singles, four-packs and cases of 24, with each under 90 calories and less than 1 gram of sugar per can.

With the seltzer category touted to hit $300 million by 2025, according to IRI, Paradox Wines is in prime position to leverage its role as a top-selling low-and-no alcohol wine range and introduce new drinkers to the light RTD category.

“There has been huge demand for convenient drinks, as seen by the growth in RTDs and other light and mini formats. On the flip side, seltzer continues to be a go-to drink for younger consumers - particularly as we head into summer. The new Paradox Wine Seltzers tick both boxes while being a lighter-in-alcohol option,” Paradox Wines Brand Manager Emmalene Lovelock said.

“The Paradox range is a pioneer in the low-and-no alcohol category, with recent 0 alcohol additions* across both red and white becoming go-to options for those keen to curb their intake but still enjoy a drink with friends.

“The addition of the new seltzers sees the brand go from strength to strength while bringing innovations and formats to the lighter-in-alcohol category for wine and seltzer drinkers to enjoy this summer.”

Adding natural flavours to the wine-based seltzer enhances the distinct wine profile of the delicious beverage, with the striking paper label on the can bringing a bright, sophisticated look to the seltzer shelf.
