The Waiting Room at Crown Towers Perth has taken out the trophy for Western Australia's Best Hotel Bar.
The luxe bar features a rose-gold ceiling, chandeliers and blue velvet sofas and is among the venues leading the hotel bar comeback in Australia.
According to Perth Now, WA's best hotel bar is so popular that staff serve about 1000 cocktails on a busy Saturday night.
Crown Towers was also crowned WA’s Best Accommodation Hotel.
The awards were announced as part of the 2019 AHA Accommodation Awards for Excellence at the Devil’s Lair Gala Ball.
It was a double celebration for COMO The Treasury in the on-premise, with its Wildflower restaurant (below) winning WA’s Best Hotel Wine List and WA’s Best Hotel Food and Beverage Employee going to Jake Silvester. The hotel also won WA’s Best Deluxe Accommodation.
The Australian Hotels Association Perth Airport Accommodation Awards for Excellence recognised WA’s best accommodation hotel venues and management staff across 25 categories.
AHA(WA) CEO Bradley Woods said: “Western Australia is a premier tourism destination that is well positioned for future visitation growth, with a range of accommodation options to suit a variety of travellers.”
“Staff who work in hotels across the state are essentially ambassadors for WA and last night’s awards celebrated the important role they play in welcoming visitors and driving excellence within the industry.”
The AHA Accommodation Awards for Excellence highlight WA’s leading hotel venues, their staff, and their commitment to building the State’s reputation as a tourism destination.
