Château Tanunda

Château Tanunda has unveiled its 2023 Limited Reserve Grand Barossa Shiraz Magnum, signifying the fifth instalment in the winery’s annual Lunar New Year series.

Made from a selection of superior Shiraz vineyard sites across the Barossa to truly represent this famous wine style, Château Tanunda’s Year of the Snake Magnum blends parcels aged in both French and American oak, resulting in a wine with lifted aromas of blackberry, plum, and black pepper accompanied by spicy, dark berry fruits on the palate, writes the producer.

“The Lunar New Year collection has become one of our most eagerly awaited traditions,” said Michelle Geber, second-generation Managing Director.

“The Year of the Snake edition continues this legacy, showcasing an intricately designed label that captures the grace and mystique of the snake, a symbol of wisdom and determination.”

The Limited Reserve Grand Barossa Shiraz 2023 ‘Year of the Snake’ Edition Magnum retails at $79 and is available online and from select independent retailers across all states except WA.
