Tooheys and Westpac join forces to transform Camden's Plough and Harrow into The Tedesco Inn to honour Blues Captain James Tedesco for the 2023 Origin Series.

While operating as The Tedesco Inn from May 22 to July 12, Tooheys will donate 50 cents from every schooner of Tooheys sold to local football club, the Camden Rams.

Camden is Tedesco's hometown, and he said he's excited about the initiative and can't wait to see the Inn packed with Blues supporters.

"I'm stoked that Tooheys has created this space for fans to come together to watch the State of Origin games this year. It has given me the chance to reflect on all the footy teams in my life, and how valuable the teamwork in rugby league and my community has been, in helping me get to where I am today in my sporting career. And for that, I'm so thankful," he said.

Russ Lowe, Publican at the Plough and Harrow, said he's happy to support the local community, including hometown legend James 'Teddy' Tedesco.

"When Tooheys asked me if I would be open to hosting The Tedesco Inn I jumped at the chance. Not only am I a proud supporter of the Camden Rams and watched Teddy grow up on the field, Teddy and his family have been coming to our venue for years, so it was a natural fit. Teddy is the pride of the Camden community," said Lowe.

Chris Allan, Head of Beer at Lion, said that the Tedesco Inn was a proud moment for the Tooheys brand.

"Sport has a special way of bringing Australians together, but is also the best display of how teamwork can create greatness. Tooheys are proud to host fans at The Tedesco Inn and shine a spotlight on the power of teamwork," he said.
