TWC Adds 'Best Spanish Winery' to its Distribution Portfolio

The Wine Company (TWC) has been named as the new Australian distributor for leading Spanish wine company Gonzalez Byass, starting March 1, 2017. 

Owner of renowned brands such as Tio Pepe, the number one selling Fino in the world, Gonzalez Byass plays a role in wine production in Spain’s most prominent wine regions, including Do. Jerez, Do. Ca Rioja, Do. Cava, Do. Somontano, Vinos de la Tierra de Castilla and Vinos de la Tierra de Cadiz. 

In addition to the Tio Pepe range, TWC will also be distributing Gonzalez Byass' brand ranges Beronia, Vilarnau, Pazo de Lusco Albarino, and Vinas del Vero nation-wide. 

Gonzales Byass provides a strong portfolio extension for TWC. Among thousands of accolades the fifth generation family winery has accumulated since its establishment in 1835 is the title of Best Spanish Winery, won at the 2016 Wine Association of Writers and Journalists of Wine & Spirits Awards.
