Sydney is in pink for spring, with two fabulous rosé events: a month-long sparkling celebration at Barangaroo House and imports from the South of France pouring at Wine Island.

The second year of Rosé Rising kicked off at Barangaroo House yesterday.

The waterfront venue is partnering with Champagne brands Veuve Clicquot, Ruinart and Moët & Chandon to toast all things rosé, including a rosé vending machine and a pink disco lift.

House Bar will serve up frosé, carafes of rosé sangria and the venue’s signature ‘Rising Spritz’. A custom vending machine will also dispense mini bottles of Moët & Chandon Rosé Imperial.

Up at Bea, the pink clad team will be launching a Ruinart Rosé Raw Bar.

Rooftop bar Smoke will see the return of some of its bestselling rosé cocktails. The pink theme will continue with a limited edition snack menu including chicken liver parfait with flamingo gingerbread or a sugar high inducing pink macaron, raspberry musk stick and gummy bear dessert.

Wine Island returns for its 5th birthday

From November 1– 3, wine connoisseurs and adventurous day trippers will descend on Clark Island in Sydney Harbour as it transforms into Wine Island, with premium wines, beer, food, cocktails, Wine Selectors masterclasses, music, treasure hunts and more.

Once ashore, the organisers say that attendees may be forgiven for thinking they’ve landed in St Tropez, as Rosé Imports will be pouring all the pink from the South of France.

Visitors can also embark on their own adventure at one of the island’s diverse wine huts – they can go on a tropical cocktail odyssey at Matso’s Island Oasis or pair a perfectly matched Chur Island burger with an expertly crafted brew at Jetty Road Brewing Co. A selection of beverages will also available from Smirnoff Infusions, K.Booch Alcoholic Kombucha, Manly Spirits, Brix Distillery and more.

This year Wine Island is introducing a new bundle set to redefine opulence – The Hampton’s Experience. Guests will cruise through Sydney Harbour on their own floating island, The Hamptons. Once moored they will have access to The Hamptons for the entire event. This includes a custom food and beverage package (thanks to Wine Selectors) and a tranquil sanctuary that guests can call their own.

Packages for Wine Island start from $109. Click here for more details.
