The inaugural Drinks Industry Show opens its doors to the Crystal Palace at Luna Park Sydney in two weeks time, where Australia’s trade only drinks show will showcase the latest brands and products from both new and existing drinks suppliers in the market.
The show will reconnect producers and distributors of alcohol with buyers, bringing industry stakeholders together in one location and providing a forum for education, entertainment and networking.
The Drinks Industry Show is one of the largest single-venue exhibitions in the Australian market.
A great diversity of exhibitors has drawn a number of quality buyers who will have the opportunity to sample and order new wine, beer, cider and spirits for the first time, as well as learn from and engage with leading industry speakers and like-minded professionals through the comprehensive series of master classes and seminars.
Master classes on day one will host drinks personalities from House of Arras, The Australian Brewery, Jack Daniel’s, Pernod Ricard, Institute of Beer, Beam Suntory, Campari Australia, SouthTrade International, The Drink Cabinet, Two Birds Brewing, Whisky Academy and William Grant & Sons.
Also set to please, are the expert-led educational seminars on day two of the show.
Visitors can expect to see well-known figures from the drinks association, Restaurant & Catering Australia (RCA) and Australian Hotels Association (AHA) NSW, along with a number of other leading experts including Managing Director of Shopper Tracker Australia, Simon Ford and CEO of Ebiquity, Richard Basil-Jones.
Mr. Basil-Jones will deliver an interesting and entertaining review on brand and retailer advertising in the industry.
“A look at the last 45 plus years of alcohol advertising tells an interesting story…brand advertising and retailer advertising in the drinks industry has never been stronger. The ads from the 60s and 70s will certainly keep you entertained", Mr. Basil-Jones said.
Co-locating at the show will be the drinks association Special Event: Network Breakfast on Tuesday morning, presented by Michael Walton from Nielson.
Running across the show days, Australian Bartenders Guild (ABG) will host a Flair National Cocktail Competition, which will see the industry’s senior bartenders compete for the chance to represent Australia at the International Bartenders Association (IBA) Cocktail Championships next year in Tokyo.
The Drinks Industry Show will take place at Luna Park Sydney on Monday 16 and Tuesday 17 November. All master classes and seminars are free to attend on a first-come-first served basis.
Exhibitor drinks will provide a welcomed reprieve for stand-holders, speakers and show sponsors alike, on the first day on the show between 5pm and 6pm. Visitors are strongly encouraged to pre-register their attendance to the show by visiting www.drinksindustryshow.com.au or calling 02 9556 7985.
