The Leukaemia Foundation’s 2015 U.G.L.Y. Bartender of the Year competition is well underway in Queensland and a record number of U.G.L.Y. bartenders have registered for the six week U.G.L.Y.-iness campaign which will wrap up in QLD on 14 September 2015

Meanwhile bartenders across the rest of Australia including SA, NT, WA, VIC, TAS & NSW have been busy U.G.L.Y.fying themselves and registering for the campaign which runs from 1 October to 16 November 2015.

Already over 900 venues have already committed to being U.G.L.Y. in 2015, raising funds to provide accommodation services for people with blood cancer living regionally who must relocate to receive vital treatment.

Every $80 raised by an U.G.L.Y. bartender provides one night accommodation and in 2015 the Leukaemia Foundation is aiming to provide 20,000 nights across Australia to help people when they need it most.

Each state is offering amazing prices to acknowledge the dedication, generosity and innovative fundraising of the participating bartenders and their fantastic venues. To find out about what’s happening in your state visit www.uglybartenderofthyear/prizes

To top all this amazing U.G.L.Y-liness off, the highest fundraiser in every state will win a $3000 travel voucher and the fabulous Hoshizaki Lancer prize valued at $7,500 for their venue. Of course they will also take home the very U.G.L.Y. trophy.
