Vins d’Alsace's second international trade show, the Millésimes Alsace Digitasting, will be hosted on 27 and 28 February and 1 March next year.
Organisers say that the last show was such a success, distributing 10K tasting boxes and with 4,000 visitors from 55 countries around the world.
The decision to remain online means that more wine professionals can access and experience the region’s wines, rather than reinstating the traditional biannual salon in Colmar. The digital format will be complemented with a number of in-person events around the world.
The online program includes:
- A live masterclass across two compatible time zones with presentations from:
- Romain Iltis: Meilleur Sommelier de France 2012 – Meilleur Ouvrier de France 2015
- Yves Beck: Author and Wine Critic – Switzerland
- Jenni Wagoner: Group Wine Director for ZUMA restaurants – USA
- Thierry Fritsch: Oenologist, Educator and Alsace Wines Specialist
- New producers to the lineup
- New, intuitive features to make the user experience run even more smoothly, including simplified booking and time zone management
- And the return of the DigiTasting ‘Discovery Boxes’ are back, meaning each guest will be sent samples from two additional producers

#3 Explore the exhibitors and choose the producers whose wines you’d like to try.
