Vintage House Wine and Spirits (VHWS) has formed a new partnership with Schild Estate as the exclusive Australian distributor of its wines, beginning September 1 2016.

Schild Estate is a family-owned winery located in the Barossa Valley. The family has been producing wine in the region since 1952 and this year patriarch Ed Schild will celebrate his 60th vintage. This year also marks the 30th vintage as head vigneron for Ed's son, Michael Schild.

Schild Estate aims to make wines that reflect the location that they are grown in and with minimal interference, allowing the wines to develop their own style.

VHWS will look after Schild Estate's Moorooroo Limited Release Shiraz, Cellar Reserve range and the Family Estate range.

Leanne Chapman, one of Ed's daughters said, "Joining a successful, national company like Vintage House Wine and Spirits as one of their Barossa partners allows us to support our customers around the country with extremely professional service delivery for our sales and marketing and we believe it will allow us to take Schild to a new level here in Australia."
