the drinks association is proud to announce the launch of a website for diversity&inclusion@drinks and Women in drinks.

The site can be accessed via drinks.asn.au and features information about the Councils, their objectives, members and upcoming events.

It also offers all the latest news on diversity and inclusion in the drinks industry, both in Australia and abroad.

"The website is a significant milestone in the drinks industry's journey to be a leader in inclusive practices," says the drinks association CEO Sandra Przibilla. "It will be as an important portal for sharing news about the Councils' progress and success."

Women in drinks formed in 2014 as a platform for dialogue and to promote the retention and development of female talent. The current Chair is Pernod Ricard's Jennifer Collins, who says: "As an industry we have the opportunity to put ourselves at the forefront of driving change. There is an unprecedented dialogue across all sectors and industries around diversity - the benefits, approaches and experiences of individuals and organisations."

The diversity&inclusion@drinks council held its inaugural meeting in October 2016. Among the principles that will guide it are the celebration of diversity of age, gender, culture and ethnicity in the drinks industry.

The council is chaired by Bacardi-Martini's Denis Brown, who says: "My aim is to work as an association to develop and share a playbook that helps all member companies and leaders convert their commitment into a truly inclusive work environment."
