The Fresh Harvest Beer Festival | 25 May

The Fresh Harvest Beer Festival, a festival dedicated to hop-led beers following in the wake of the annual hop harvest, is returning to Frenchies Bistro & Brewery on Saturday 25 May.

The 2024 event will feature beers by 2Halfs, One Drop Brewing Co, Rocks Brewing Co, Seeker Brewing, The Social Brewers, and Frenchies Brewery along with other highlights such as a Hop Olympics, educational sessions on hops, brewery tours, beer food and more.

“Hops are what make our world go round, and we love nothing more than incorporating new releases and freshly picked varieties in our brews. So, what better way to celebrate them, than with an event dedicated to all things hops,” said Vincent de Soyres.

“Given the challenges the industry has been facing of late, this year in particular we see The Fresh Harvest Beer Festival as an important opportunity to highlight the creativity and talent of some of our fellow independents, and provide a platform for beer fans to come together to support and recognise independent beer producers at a time when they need it most.”

New to this year, a Hop Olympics will run throughout the day and will include events such as a hop matching challenge, sack racing, and hopscotch amongst others.

The event, which will take place from 12pm through to 8pm, will include two ticket options in 2024. The first, priced at $25, includes access to the event, games and panels, while the second, priced at $59, also includes lunch from a dedicated beer food menu at the adjoining Bistro and a 30-minute brewery tour.

Additionally, all attendees who purchase a ticket prior to Wednesday 8 May will have their name featured on the event’s dedicated can, serving as a memento of the day.

“We look forward to seeing everyone down at Frenchies for a day of good brews, games, food, beer talk, and all round good times,” said Vincent de Soyres.
