Brian joined WG&SA in 2010 and made a major contribution to the business, including setting up of the wholly owned distribution business, which markets and sells the company’s brands including Glenfiddich, Grants FR, Hendricks, Sailor Jerry, Balvenie and Monkey Shoulder.
Chris Mason MD for WG&S Developed Anglo Markets thanked Brian “for the contribution and support he has given to the company and the brands over the past five years, and wished Brian great personal and professional success in the future”.
The senior management team of the business will report into Chris Mason while arrangements are finalised for the appointment of an Interim General Manager.
At the time of publish, WG&S had not yet provided comment on Mr. Sharp’s reasons for leaving.
