Sydney’s inner west urban brewery, Willie the Boatman (WTB), is again hosting its popular Beer and Food Truck Festival this year with a focus on showcasing New South Wales regional breweries and the state’s delicious craft brews.
Since its inception in 2015, Willie the Boatman’s Festival has been integral to the growth and awareness of the burgeoning craft beer sector.
With its irreverent branding, the brewery and its beer have attracted a cult following spearheaded by the success of the festival. The Beer and Food Truck Festival brings together craft beer and food in a fun, creative and inclusive community space.
WTB’s Beer & Food Truck Festival will feature a wide selection of craft beers from New South Wales regional breweries, including:
- Seeker Brewing from Wollongong
- Social Brewers from Mortdale.
These brews represent the best of regional NSW's craft beer scene. From rich ales to zesty IPAs, this festival promises a journey through the vibrant tapestry of regional craft beer excellence.
This year the Beer and Food Truck Festival is taking place on the 28 October from 11 am to 5 pm at Precinct 75, 75 Mary Street, St Peters, Sydney.
Food trucks involved in the Festival this year include That's Amore, Satay Brothers, Volkwurst, Chips on a Stick, and Mate Mexicano.
The event is pet and family-friendly and includes a kids play area, jumping castle and complimentary face painting. Live music will complete the vibe. Festival-goers will enjoy The Pragmatics Band’s pumping tunes adding the festival’s inner-west vibes.
