Casella Family Brands has announced a third addition to its [yellow tail] Sparkling Cocktails range: Mediterranean Lemon Spritz. A blend of natural lemon and citrus flavours with [yellow tail] sparkling wine, the new release is well positioned to capitalise on the growing spritz cocktail segment which - according to Circana data measuring the year up to 01/09/24 - has grown 40.4% by volume and 34.5% by value.
“Sparkling Cocktails Mediterranean Lemon spritz is the perfect zesty new addition to our Sparkling cocktails range,” said Madeleine Legoe, Brand Manager.
“With the growth of lemon and RTDs, there was an opportunity to innovate recruiting younger consumers into the category and [yellow tail] brand.”

Joining Wild Peach Bellini and Blood Orange Mimosa in [yellow tail]’s Sparkling Cocktail range, the Mediterranean Lemon Spritz is bottled at an abv of 10.5% and sells for $18 per 750ml bottle, currently exclusively through Dan Murphy’s.

Colour: Pale lemon / Pale straw hue.
Aroma: Plush lemon aroma with pronounced zesty characters
Flavour: Complex palate, balancing a lemon sherbet acidity with lavish citrus sweetness, all giving a well-balanced, lengthy finish.
Serving Suggestion: Mediterranean salad with lemon dressing or lemon ricotta pancakes.
