Following the ongoing success of its Sessions stores, Paramount Liquor has announced a new complementary banner group, BottleStop.
BottleStop is intended to cater to a more mainstream and less premium market sector compared to its predecessor, and has been based around Paramount Liquor’s new beverage industry specific POS system Beverage Cloud. Beverage Cloud, which will be provided free to all Sessions and BottleStop members, includes features such e-commerce, a loyalty program, and liquor-trade specific app.
The announcement was made at Paramount Liquor’s recent Re:Tail event held in Melbourne on Tuesday. The free event gave off-premise trade an invaluable opportunity to discuss new products and trends directly with suppliers. It also featured a keynote discussion between Nathan Rowe and Anastasia Lloyd-Wallis, which covered topics such as current consumer trends, their impacts on in-store shopping, and how retailers can adjust to accommodate them.
“Paramount is proud of its ongoing commitment to facilitate connections and educate the industry,” said Nathan Rowe, CEO at Paramount Liquor.
“We are anticipating a strong year in the retail sector and excited to be bolstering Sessions by adding more stores across all states, and the addition of our new banner group, BottleStop.”
Over the coming five years, Paramount Liquor is planning on expanding its retail network to a total of 50 Sessions stores and between 150 and 200 BottleStop stores. The expansion will be assisted by its recently announced national retail team, which will cover all facets of retail including sales, administration, warehouse, customer service and marketing.
More information about the BottleStop will be available soon.
