The Winemakers of Rutherglen are heading into town for the annual Rutherglen in the City event on Saturday 14 October 2023, giving wine lovers the opportunity to taste more than 100 boutique wines from 16 wineries.
Rutherglen winemakers will set up cellar door experiences at The Timber Yard in Port Melbourne for a full day of wine tastings, masterclasses, live music sets and Northeast Victorian food pairings.
Consumers will have the opportunity to explore and discover Rutherglen’s flourishing varietals including season release, cellar door exclusives and rare museum vintages. It is also the ideal platform for punters to experience Rutherglen’s world-renowned Muscat of Rutherglen, a unique wine that needs to be savoured to be appreciated.
