Sydney Wine Academy has announced the launch of a new Level 3 Sake course as part of the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) program.

The course is the first of its kind in Australia and will be headed by Yukino Ochiai – Director of Déjà vu Sake Company and the only person qualified in Australia to teach the award.

Launched in response to the category’s growth across the globe, the WSET Level 3 Award in Sake will provide students with in-depth product knowledge of the category, enabling graduates to enter back out into the hospitality and retail sectors able to evaluate and select sakes based on style, quality and value.
