French vodka brand Grey Goose has announced the launch of its first ever standalone bar.

The new venue, dubbed Le Martini bar, will open next month has been created in partnership with Crown Melbourne. As the name suggests, Le Martini is dedicated entirely to the Martini cocktail.

“We are delighted to bring the world’s first Grey Goose bar to Australia, and as such an exemplar of luxury, Crown Melbourne is undoubtedly the perfect home for Le Martini,” said Sander Janmaat, Marketing Manager at Grey Goose.

“Here, we are creating a place where guests can sip on the very best expertly crafted Grey Goose Martinis while immersed in exquisite surrounds.”

The bar will feature an intimate 33-seat setting designed to reflect the lavish sophistication that the Martini has come to represent. It will also serve to demonstrate the versatility of the cocktail, offering up a multitude of flavour profiles, sweetness levels, and mixology techniques.

Le Martini will also feature a French-themed menu designed by Crown Melbourne’s Bistro Guillaume.

To kick things off, Grey Goose’s new venture will be hosting a selection of international guest bartenders who will curate personal cocktail menus for the bar. First up from this list will be the esteemed Dale De Groff, who’s menu will be in place for Le Martini's April launch. 

The exact April opening date is yet to be announced by Crown Melbourne and Grey Goose. Once open, patrons will be able to visit from Thursday through to Sunday, 5pm until late.
