Coastal Drink Co, a new RTD manufacturer based in Northern Rivers NSW, has launched its first two products: a pineapple flavoured alcoholic coconut water and a watermelon flavoured hard coconut water.

Seeking to satiate demand for lower calorie and better-for-you RTDs, Coastal’s Hard Coco Water is made from a blend of 100% natural coconut water, fruit juice, and rice based Vodka, Every product is gluten free, vegan, and made without artificial additives, sugars, or sweeteners.  Both product flavours are also certified carbon neutral.

The product follows on from other recent products, such as BetterDays’ Cactus Water, that strive to cater to the changing needs of younger legal-drinking-aged consumers. 

In an emailed statement, the Coastal Drink Co team said, since “we launched 8 weeks ago now [and are] being currently stocked in around 40 independent bottle-shops and venues from Ballina to Coolangatta. 

“We plan to expand into Queensland through winter, then down to Sydney and Melbourne in Spring, with the plan of having Coastals Hard Coco Water available to everyone on the East Coast by Summer. Sydney-siders can find us at the Good Food and Wine expo this weekend.”
