Young Henrys newest release from the Brewers B-Side Series, Wattle They Think Of Next is now available.

The brewers say that it is "the perfect ‘in-your-face’ double IPA fit for any occasion. Infused with the refreshing juice of blood oranges, Wattle They Think of Next bursts with flavour thanks to an extravagantly piney, all Kiwi lineup of Waimea, Rakau and Wakatu hops. Rounded off with the deep and earthy notes of toasted wattleseed, at 8%, this citrus whirlpool packs a serious punch'.

The B-Side Series are special limited release projects where Young Henrys delves into weird and wonderful creations. Past released include the Captain Ahab’s tiramisu white stout, the summer sell-out From Where You’d Guava Be and the vibrant watermelon and mandarin sour Sun Is Shining.

“We wanted to do a big ol' double IPA, but with a fruit element, and a native ingredient. We ended up with the combination of wattleseed and blood oranges resulting in a perfect counterbalance of earthiness and sharp citrus. We have also chucked in our mixed hops of Kiwi, targeting more of pine, floral, grassy flavour profile) and Golden Promise, UK grown and laced with bitterness to give the harmony to the beer, alongside some Rye, Wheat, and Carawheat. It is 8 per cent ABV, but it drinks dangerously like a 5 per cent beer. Very smooth and velvety, with not one aspect too dominant," says Jesse Searls, Head Brewer.
